    it was nt an effort of the RSS...it was a sincere struggle made by the residents of housing board colony (Ganeshpuri known then) against the MLA at that time, Mr. Ashok Naik Salgaonkar who was against the contruction of the templee because he wanted to use the space for washing his buses.

    this place z a symbol of unity amongst d people residing in d colony.They struggled through d battle for d contruction of d Ganesh Temple together & is now a place everybody wants to be a part of. Everybody here stay as a family sharing both the happiness as well as d sorrows....It was my pervilege to be a part of it....I saw my father & others fight for their right. It was becoz of this temple that we actually got to know everybody staying in the colony. And this struggle throughout has paid today.
